Collegiate Curls has been on USC’s campus for less than a month now and yet, so much progress has been made on our campus so far! With a lot of hard work and communication, we've secured a date for an informational meeting on September 21st, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be held on campus and is open to anyone who showed interest in being apart of Collegiate Curls or would like to support our organization. During this meeting, we will be discussing what Collegiate Curls is all about, our goals for the year, dropping our dope t-shirt design. In addition, we will be playing an informative hair, skin, and body Kahoot game just to add a little bit of fun to the meeting and also so that our upcoming members can have a bit more knowledge on basic hair, skin, and body care. We are expecting a big crowd on the 21st, we have had amazing responses from not only USC , but also other companies. We have been fortunate enough to gain the support of several different sponsors who send us sample size hair products to give out at our meetings, and we could not be more thankful for their support and generosity!
Outside of prepping for our first informational meeting, we have also been connecting with our fellow classmates at USC to figure out who the top-notch hairstylists and aestheticians are on campus. We have connected with everyone to make a directory of the best people to get serviced by on campus. Not only does this give the beauticians exposure but, it also answers the most frequently asked questions; "Does anybody know who I can go to on campus to get my hair/eyebrows/nails done?".
All of this progress could not have been made without the lovely ladies on USC's executive board, of course!
