WaveItUp

Summer time is coming and I know we can’t all hit the beach. So for all my bros and bald baddies out there, let me show you how to bring the waves up north. Now before I get into this, y'all gotta understand that bringing out your waves is a process and sometimes, you have to start with ripples. Being patient is the key if you are trying to catch the tsunami.

First thing you have to do, is make sure your hair is healthy. Think about it. No one has ever seen waves on a dry ocean, so why would you find them on a dry scalp? Come up with a daily regimen! When I was waved up, I would always wet my hair and put some type of hair moisturizer (shoutout to Pink Lotion) before I put any grease on my head. I had my wave brush on deck and got some strokes in whenever I could. The kid was also fitted with my du-rag or wave cap every night.

Now of course, there is no set way on waving up but, if you don't know where to start, try my routine and use it to build your own personal regimen. Whatever that regimen becomes, just make sure you are consistent. If you want to see results, consistency is key (and that’s applicable to anything). But in regards to hair, keep up with the process and sooner than later you’ll be dripping grain off top.

Waving Methods:

Now like I said, there is more than one way to wave up.

Here’s a couple of methods to look up and use:

  • Plastic Bag Method

  • Wolfing Method

  • Combing Method

All of these methods are systems to up your wave game, that costs nothing.

Check out this video and begin or continue your wave journey.

Deuces!
