"A goal without a plan is just a wish."

The vision board party was a great way for people to come out and express themselves by cutting up different pieces of magazines and pasting them onto sheets of colored paper. Whether is was your favorite sports teams or words of encouragement to yourself. I did these a lot in high school and hung them up all over my room! During our vision board party we saw lots of creativity from our participants and the snacks and music provided gave us all a little bit of inspiration. Can't be creative on an empty belly!

A few of our participants created some beautiful boards with awesome goals. We have a few future RN's and Educators among us!

Shout out to our President Alicia Castle for kicking off the event with a super positive attitude! She encouraged everyone to dream big and speak their aspirations that evening.

Also, the Collegiate Curls sector at the University of South Carolina Upstate held a watch party for the film Nappily Ever After produced by Halle Berry and Marc E. Platt. It was such a great bonding experience and we look forward to the many extravagant events that are planned for the rest of the semester!
